Xavia returned to her senses. She could not believe what she had just heard, let alone know how she should face such a situation. She simply decided to hide herself away.

“Chairman Talton, you have mistaken me for the wrong person. I’m not Xavia.”

Her eyes were obviously as clear and pure as Xavia’s. So, how could she not be Xavia?

“Xavia, are you avoiding me because you heard what happened, just now?” Stefan felt an unprecedented sense of fluster and panic that he had never felt before in his heart.

His eyes were bright and clear and it did not look like he was lying.

Xavia was slightly startled and her eyes were moist.

She believed him.

He was such a good man. So, how could he lie?

She was the one who had caused him harm.

Xavia felt very guilty in her heart and she forced a smile with much difficulty. “Chairman Talton, I’m really not Xavia. Thank you for your deep love and affection for Xavia. I will not tell her about this matter.”

She was about to take a step and leave.

“Xavia.” Stefan held her wrist. He did not believe that she was not Xavia.

His intuition could not be wrong.

Even though Xavia was very sad, she could not help but feel slightly surprised.
