Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1650

Honestly, not even the Great Lady understood why she didn’t want Jenna to be executed so much. However, she did know that she had been experiencing countless nightmares of Jenna getting killed… and after shaking her head, she turned to look at Xavia and said, “…You’re a kind child, Xavia… Are you truly sure that her death will bring you relief…? Why not give her one final chance…?”

“If you agree, I swear that she’ll never be able to leave prison for the rest of her life…” concluded the Great Lady.

Jenna, for one, was touched when she heard this. From the moment she was imprisoned, her parents never bothered visiting her, save for the time she pretended to be crazy. What’s more, her ‘loving’ brother never showed up at all! Only the Great Lady was still trying her hardest to keep her alive…! Since that was the case, she needed to make good use of her!

After a brief pause, Jenna replied, “…While I don’t like Jenna’s current fate either, you should understand that Miss Harrison has agreed to this as well. Even if I reconsider, she may not change her mind. Regardless, I may reconsider after some thought, but until then, I believe there is nothing else to talk about.”

“…Alright then,” replied the Great Lady in a reluctant tone before turning to leave…

Ian, however, chose to stay and say, “…Do you mind if we talked in private, Miss Lockhart?”

Upon hearing that, Xavia turned to look at the Grand Duke. She had once attempted to woo him instead, but alas, he rejected her! With that in mind, the fact that he was now taking the initiative to speak to her made her rather pleased. Maintaining her calm façade, Jenna replied, “If there’s anything to say, just say it here. I’d rather not have Von misunderstand things.”

…What was there to misunderstand? In the end, he simply looked at Zivon before asking, “…Need I clarify anything, Young Master Burton?”

Zivon, for one, was satisfied with ‘Xavia’s’ attitude. That aside, he already had someone do a check on Ian, and it seemed like he simply wanted to deal with some things that didn’t involve pursuing Xavia. With that, he simply replied, “Not at all. Go right ahead.”
