After Nathan left, Zivon closed the video and headed off to start renovating the newlywed house. The house itself was located in an elevated downtown area that was set to be completed come January. It had a good view of the city, and there was easy transportation access everywhere. This made the location a prime one, which was why it made sense that only the wealthiest and most authoritative of individuals could purchase a home there.

In fact, there were only nine properties in that neighborhood, and one of them belonged to Ian! While the location was definitely top tier, the buildings there were on another level. All the ten-floor buildings in that area faced either north or south, and through architectural feats, every room in that area was almost always brightly lit with natural light.

What’s more, aside from serving as a comfortable home, the buildings were also well-designed. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that each of the buildings could be used for art exhibitions! Either way, once Zivon arrived at the home, he was quick to place it under Xavia’s name. This was going to be his surprise to her tonight. His train of thought was cut short when the doorbell began ringing…

“Here are the flowers you ordered, sir!”

“Hello? Lychee delivery!”

Shortly after, dozens of workers could be seen entering the house with large bouquets of jasmines and lychees. Since the flowers and fruits weren’t tended to, a sweet scent soon began wafting through the air…

Though Zivon had previously sent flowers to Xavia before, he had never really asked what flowers she liked most. After giving it ample thought, however, he figured that jasmines suited her best. After all, to him, she was as delicate and sweet-smelling as the pure jasmine flower… What’s more, Jasmines symbolized faithfulness, so this flower pretty much had it all.

Either way, once they were done, Zivon led them out before taking his suit jacket off. After rolling his sleeves up, he then began sorting the flowers out, one by one… He was her boyfriend, and he knew that he owed her occasional surprises like these… Hopefully she’d be touched by his actions when she met him tonight…

It was about six hours later when white jasmine flowers could be seen all over the place. From the living room, to the elevator, and all the way to the ninth-floor master bedroom… In fact, the king-sized bed was surrounded by most of the flowers, and on the side of the bed, laid a beautiful bouquet of lychees…

The scene was set, and the air was fragrant. While it was true that this was the most time Zivon had ever spent doing something so unprofitable, it was simultaneously the most meaningful action he had ever done in his life. Shaking his head, he then headed off to pick up the kids from school.
