Thinking that it was just his staff from the management office, Mark replied, “Just put the sheets in the washing machine. I’m getting the door…”

Nodding in response, Xavia did as she was told… and shortly after, she heard a door creaking open, followed by a familiar voice asking, “Where’s Xav?”

Zivon?! He was here?! Just as she was about to run out to greet him, she quickly stopped in her tracks when she realized that she still had Mark’s pajamas on! It didn’t help that she had clearly just taken a shower so early in the morning! Knowing Zivon, he’d surely misunderstand the situation!

Not wanting things to get worse, she quickly put the sheets down before grabbing her clothes and changing into them.

Moving back to Mark, he was rightfully surprised to see Zivon at his door. Even so, he truthfully replied, “She’s doing some laundry.”

After glaring at him for a while, Zivon walked in and began peering around… and upon reaching the laundry room, his eyes went wide. After all, Xavia was there, and she was only in her undergarments! Watching as she frantically continued trying to get her clothes on, he couldn’t help but growl, “What are you doing…?!”

Gulping slightly, she slowly turned to look at the man who looked like the embodiment of a thunderstorm…! Damn it, she had been too slow!

Now panicking, she was quick to reply, “I-I was just…!”

Since she could barely even explain herself, Zivon found his rage skyrocketing! He could take Matthew’s offensive words. Hell, he could even force himself to accept that she was pregnant with Mark’s child! At the very least, he’d have a chance to talk things out with her once they were home, but how was he supposed to remain calm when he saw her like this?!
