Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1630

“Honestly, it’s only natural for her to get close to Mark again after everything he’s done for her. I’ll have you know that it warms my heart every time I see them working together. It was just so clear in her eyes that she had feelings for him,” replied Matthew, his words instantly piercing through Zivon’s heart.

Despite being drugged so many times, he had managed to stop himself from touching other women. He used to believe that Xavia had that same dedication, but the fact that she gave everything to Mark the second she ran into him… Perhaps this truly was what she wanted. Was she finally deciding to indulge in that past love of hers…?

As Zivon’s expression turned icier by the second, Matthew himself simply walked off without another word. He, for one, despised that man since he couldn’t even protect his own woman! So what if he had riches? To him, Mark would always win when it came to loving Xavia! Either way, he had done his best to make it seem like Xavia had truly fallen for Mark. Hopefully Zivon would voluntarily step away from all this!

Moving back to Xavia, she had just woken up, her entire body sore. Though her head was throbbing, she was instantly startled awake when she heard a familiar voice gently ask, “Finally awake…?”

Turning to face the voice, her eyes instantly widened as she replied, “M-Mark…?! W-why are you here…? Actually, is this your place? Why am I here?”

“You were drunk at Lake Garden last night, and you called me by mistake. I went looking for you, and you were deathly pale by the time I found you. I was worried that you’d get sick, so I rushed you back home and got Matthew to check on you…”

…So that was what happened… As Xavia rubbed her aching forehead, Mark added, “That aside, I made you a light breakfast, so you should eat that after a bath. Make sure to pass me your clothes first. I’ll give them a quick wash and dry.”

Quickly shaking her head, Xavia replied, “I-it’s fine! I’ll just shower at home…”
