Thankfully, he was able to regain his composure in time… And after a few seconds, he was prompted to growl, “…Have her sent to the nearest Squire Hospital. I’ll take care of everything else. Expect to see doctors waiting for her as soon as you arrive.”
…But Squire Hospital was a private one. Even if he managed to get her in line, there was no certainty that the hospital would treat her immediately. What’s more, she was a nurse from Mayo Hospital! Why would she send her to a rival hospital?
Before she could say any of that, however, she heard Zivon command, “Do as I say, otherwise I’ll hold you accountable if anything happens to her…!”
Following that, he hung up and gave Zayne a call… Once the call was answered, he was quick to say, “Xav’s gotten involved in an accident, but I don’t know the details yet. Please get the most senior doctors in the hospital to wait for her arrival.”
“…Got it, though please understand that the hospital has been extremely busy recently. What I’m saying is that you may want to give the dean a call,” replied Zayne. Though the Xenos group had joint stocks with the hospital and Zayne was the vice president there, the hospital ultimately still belonged to the Squires.
Following a grunt, Zivon then gave Mr. Squire a call next. The second the call was picked up, he wasted no time and said, “My fiancée got involved in a car accident, and I’ve already told Zayne to get her some doctors. Could you step in and make sure that everything goes smoothly?”
Mr. Squire, for one, had desperately been hoping to get a chance to get back on Zivon’s good side… To think that it’d finally arrive! Grinning from ear to ear, the overjoyed man replied, “N-no problem! I’ll personally handle everything!”
After hearing that, Zivon hung up and sped all the way to the hospital…
As for Xavia, everything was simply a blur for the longest time… Falling in and out of consciousness, the poor woman was only able to vaguely tell that several people were surrounding her… Were they… treating her…? All the noise simply made it harder for her to concentrate, and the sheer discomfort ultimately forced her to open her eyes a little…
The second that happened, the slew of faces above her instantly smiled as they exclaimed, “S-she’s awake! She’s finally awake…!”
