The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1350

Kirsten hummed in acknowledgment and pushed the door open. But as she stepped out, she paused, glancing back at him as if she wanted to say something more.

In the end, she kept her mouth shut, turned on her heel, and walked into the building.

By the time Gian pulled up to the Atwood Mansion, it was the middle of the night.

The massive property was completely dark, save for the motion-sensor lights casting a faint, lonely glow over the driveway.

He parked the car and trudged inside. Exhausted, he didn't even bother taking off his shoes before heading straight upstairs and shutting himself in his study.

He closed the door firmly, locking himself away from the rest of the world.

Walking over to his desk, he dropped into the leather chair and aggressively rubbed his pounding temples.

Suddenly, his phone shattered the quiet of the room.

Gian frowned at the caller ID. It was a call from the family estate.

Hesitating for a moment, he eventually swiped to answer.

The butler's respectful voice came through the line. "Sir, your parents have requested that you come to the estate first thing tomorrow morning. They said it's urgent."

Gian's frown deepened.

His parents usually kept their noses out of his daily business. Calling an impromptu morning meeting meant something serious had gone down.

"Do you know what it's about?" he asked, his tone dropping.

The butler paused, sounding undeniably hesitant. "I believe... it has to do with you and Ms. Delaney."

"They both sound incredibly furious."

Gian's stomach plummeted.

He knew the storm had finally caught up with him.

Taking a steadying breath, he kept his voice completely neutral. "Understood. I'll be there in the morning."

He didn't sleep a wink that night.

Early the next morning.

Gian drove directly to the family estate.

Pulling through the massive iron gates, he spotted the butler waiting by the front steps, looking remarkably grim.

The sense of dread settled heavier in his chest.

As he stepped into the living room, he found his parents sitting stiffly on the sofas. Both of them looked absolutely murderous.

The atmosphere in the room was completely toxic. The air was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Gian maintained a neutral expression. He walked forward and greeted them smoothly. "Dad. Mom."

His father slammed his hand onto the coffee table. The impact rattled the teacups, sending a sharp clatter echoing through the room.
