The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 112

Danielle gave Gian a quick rundown of her project.

Gian listened, set his fork down, and gave her a wry smile. "You're looking for a needle in a haystack. There's no way you'll reach any investors like this."

Of course Danielle knew that. If she really wanted to get in touch, she'd have to book an appointment through their offices. But she didn't want to waste her spare time—there was no harm in learning as much as she could.

"I saw on the news that next month the state's organizing a summit for business leaders," she said. "They'll be discussing plans for innovation across new and old industries. If a project stands out, it could get major government support."

"I'd love to attend, but there's no chance I'll get an invite."

Those invitations were nearly impossible to come by—even top entrepreneurs might not make the list.

Gian's lips curled into a faint, amused smile. "Yeah, you can forget about that route."

They simply weren't at that level yet.

"I can't help you with the state summit," Gian went on, "but the day after tomorrow, you can come to the Atwood Group's industry conference."

Danielle blinked in surprise.

The Atwood Group was a giant in aerospace, with deep influence throughout the field.

They invited top entrepreneurs, leading scholars, and key government officials—while it wasn't as large as the state summit, it was still one of the most exclusive events in the industry.

Everyone there was a heavyweight.

If she could attend the Atwood Group's conference, Danielle would finally have the chance to meet major investors.

Gian came from serious money—everyone knew him as a trust fund kid. But he'd started Ninesky Technologies on his own, refusing his family's help, and turned it into a rising star in the industry.

Danielle looked at him, not sure how to express her gratitude. In the end, all she managed was a heartfelt, "Thank you."

"You're helping me more than you know."

"Alright, enough," Gian laughed. "Let's eat. If you get any more sentimental, I'm going to break out in goosebumps."

To get ready for the industry conference, Danielle made a special trip to the mall to pick out the right outfit.

She needed to be fully prepared.
