The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 636

Yvonne stared at her for a few seconds, and then it hit her. “Don’t tell me…?”

Before she could get the name “Mr. Langley” out, Leilani glanced up, knowing exactly what she was thinking. She set down her cup and looked at Yvonne, her expression unreadable. “Just eat your food.”

Yvonne instantly got the hint and swallowed the question on the tip of her tongue.

Intimidated by Leilani’s authoritative air, Yvonne didn’t dare press further and obediently sat down to eat.

She picked up a piece of braised short rib with her fork, and her eyes widened the moment it touched her lips.

“Mmm! This is incredible!”

It was no wonder this was the most famous private kitchen in all of Brass City.

It really lived up to the hype.

Leilani glanced at her. “If you like it, have more.”

Yvonne shoveled some rice into her mouth, all while sneaking glances at Leilani’s face.

Though Leilani’s expression was as placid as ever, the tips of her ears were tinged with red.

Yvonne knew it. This takeout was definitely from Callahan!

Had they finally stopped fighting?

She was bursting with curiosity, but she didn’t dare ask, so she just focused on devouring her food.

What Leilani didn't know was that on the other side of town, another one of her best friends, Judie, was lying in wait.

Determined to help Callahan and Leilani make up, Judie decided she would storm the Pure-Spring Clinic the very next day.

To prevent Leilani from brushing her off with the excuse of being too busy with work, Judie planned to show up under the guise of offering to help.

That way, Leilani would have no reason to refuse her.

The next day, Leilani went to open the Pure-Spring Clinic as usual.

The morning rush of patients hadn’t started yet. As Leilani was sorting herbs at the medicine cabinet, the bell above the door gave a crisp chime.

She looked toward the sound and saw Judie bursting in, a whirlwind of energy, holding two lattes and a bag of pastries.
