The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 356

“That diamond is huge! It must be worth a fortune! Mr. Baird is incredibly generous to you!”

“It’s lab-grown, so it’s not that expensive,” Vivica explained with a smile. “Joseph joked that you could buy them by the pound.”

“No way! Tell him to get me a pound, then. I’d love to see that,” Quintina retorted, unconvinced.

Vivica just laughed, not bothering to explain further. “We’re getting married tomorrow,” she announced. “Are you free tomorrow night? We could have dinner to celebrate.”

“My best friend is marrying a tycoon! Of course I’m free!” Quintina squealed with excitement.

“Great. I’ll send you the address tomorrow.”

Before she could finish the call, Joseph emerged from the bathroom carrying Chaim.

Ever since Joseph had become a constant presence in Chaim’s life, the little guy had started calling for his “uncle” instead of his mom for almost everything.

“You should go home and rest tonight,” Vivica said to Joseph, putting her phone down. “His fever’s gone, so I can stay with him.”

Before Joseph could reply, Chaim piped up, “Mommy, you go home. Uncle can stay with me.”

“Your uncle has a busy day tomorrow,” Vivica explained. “He needs a good night’s sleep.”

“Aren’t we getting married tomorrow morning? Why run back and forth?” Joseph interjected. “Let’s all sleep here tonight. My parents will come early, and we can go home to shower and change before we head to the marriage registry.”

He had planned everything, wanting to look his best on such an important day.

For some reason, Vivica’s lips curved into a subtle smile, and an unexpected blush crept up her cheeks. “Alright, we’ll do as you say.” She glanced at him, a hint of shyness in her eyes.
