Chapter 601 Floyd’s Surprise
Amelia watched as Floyd stared at her with those big, bright eyes without blinking.
He looked like an adorable puppy that waited all day for its owner to come home and play with
Okay, comparing the Jordans’ precious boy to a puppy might not be the nicest thing, but that face is just too
cute!
“We… haven’t… haven’t…
seen each other… in forever,” Floyd said, pouting a little.
Amelia hadn’t been over for the last two weeks, which was exactly why he had begged his grandma to call her.
He really wanted her to come play with him.
Lately, he’d gotten way better at talking.
Before, he wouldn’t say a word, but Amelia had insisted that he practice talking, even if it was just a little bit at a time.
Language is like a muscle-you have to use it.
Even if he was too shy to talk in front of other people, she told him he had to be brave to try when it was just the two of them.
Since Floyd listened to everything she said, he always tried his best to speak whenever they were alone.
Even though his speech wasn’t smooth yet, it was so much better than not talking at all.
Like the slightly aggrieved words he just said-every word sounded like it was carefully squeezed out of his throat. He had this soft, nasal tone, and his voice even trembled a little at the end.
Amelia felt her heart melt.
She crouched down to his eye level and gently tapped the tip of his small nose.
She smiled and said, “Okay, okay, you’re right! My bad. We haven’t seen each other in forever!”
Floyd’s eyes lit up like stars, and he couldn’t stop himself from grinning, showing off two shallow dimples.
He happily pulled her into the house. On the big coffee table in the living room, there was a

huge spread of snacks-all the desserts Amelia loved.
“Ms. Pretty, eat.” Floyd pointed at the treats.
Not only did he bring her food and drinks, but he also drew a picture for her as a gift.
She once told him that he was talented at drawing and that she liked his style.
She also mentioned that she wanted something to hang in her living room.
So he kept everything in mind and carefully prepared this gift for her.
“Wow, Floyd! You’re so thoughtful. These are all my
favorites!”
She looked at the table filled with delicate desserts that looked absolutely delicious.
She especially loved food that looked pretty and tasted good.
It was obvious the kid had paid attention to exactly what she liked.
“You’re probably gonna grow up to be a sweet, caring guy just like Mr. Handsome,” Amelia said with a grin, snapping some photos.
After getting a few pretty dessert shots, she asked Floyd to take a picture of her holding the cake, about to take a bite.
“Wow, Floyd! You’re even talented at taking photos? Is there anything you can’t do? That’s amazing!”
Amelia checked the photos he took. Every angle looked perfect.
For a kid to take a shot this good without any filters was seriously impressive.
If he ever wanted to be a professional photographer, he’d definitely be a famous one.
She suddenly understood why those people wanted to use him as an experiment, study and extract his outstanding genes.
Someone like Floyd, who was naturally gifted at basically everything, was the kind of talent people would fight over.
Amelia uploaded a few nice photos and casually posted on her Instagram with a caption.
“A happy, beautiful day brought to you by Floyd.”
She had only taken a few bites of her cake when her phone started blowing up with notifications.

She checked it, confused, since her work group chats were all on mute.
She figured it was her group chat, but it was actually Jeremy.
“You heartless girl. I’ve never seen you post about me or us, but that brat already made it to your Instagram.
