Chapter 577 He’s Here
He looked at her calmly and sneered. “You should replace your camping gear soon. It’s too basic and cheap.”
The word cheap clearly had another meaning, and it was aimed at her.
“You jerk-”
Before she could finish, he had already walked away at top speed.
“This guy is so annoying!” Josie stomped angrily.
She refused to believe she couldn’t take down that arrogant man.
One day, she’d make him cry and beg, saying, “Honey, I can’t live without you!”
Hmph. Just wait.
After everyone finished breakfast, they continued hanging around nearby.
The plan was to head to a hot spring resort close by for lunch, soak in the springs, and then return home in the evening.
That resort was the nicest spot in the surrounding suburbs.
It was newly built and not well-advertised yet, so not many people knew about it.
That was exactly why they chose it-new, quiet, clean, and safe.
Once they wrapped things up, everyone packed and drove to the hot spring resort.
Employees who could work at Nygard Group earned well, with comfortable lifestyles and solid spending power.
So everyone drove their own cars and brought ‘their own equipment.
By the time they arrived, it was right around lunchtime, so they decided to eat first and then relax.
Jeremy and Amelia didn’t like sticking with crowds. They preferred wandering off on their own.
Instead of going straight to the restaurant, they strolled around to take a look,
“This place is pretty good. The air, scenery, and layout are nice. It’s just far from the city.”

Amelia let him hold her hand while they flirted, casually throwing out comments along the
way.
“Yeah. It’s good. Even if it’s far, people with time and cars will still come.”
In fact, Jeremy figured the remoteness would attract even more visitors.
Especially for young up-and-comers in big cities. Most were worn down by stress and barely had time to breathe.
They’d gladly choose a slower pace on weekends or holidays.
The only issue was that the place was still brand new and hadn’t really launched yet, so hardly anyone knew about it.
“You seem pretty interested in this place. If you like it that much, I’ll buy it. You can run it.”
When rich people said things like that, it usually sounded like a joke to normal folks..
But Amelia knew he meant every word and replied helplessly, “No need. I was just saying. Please don’t give me more work.”
If she became the boss here, it would only mean extra responsibilities.
She was already drowning in work at the, Nygard Group, and her lab research had been paused forever.
“You’d just be a boss in name only, sitting back and taking the money. Come hang out whenever you want. I’d never make you work.”
He wouldn’t let her worry about the operations at all.
Hearing that made Amelia soften. She looped her arms around his neck and pouted. “No. Please spare me.”
“Alright. I’ll let you off during the day.” Jeremy leaned in and murmured, “But not at night.”
The words sounded off right away. Once it clicked, her face flushed red.
“Shameless!”
She shot the word back at him and slipped free of his arms.
“If I weren’t shameless, how would I have won you over?”
