The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 807

A bold girl twirled through the air and landed right in front of Lucas, then settled herself on his lap without hesitation.

Lucas slipped an arm around her, grinning with that devil-may-care attitude everyone knew too well. “Got tired from dancing? Decided my lap was the best seat in the house?”

Lucas was fun and charming in a way that made it impossible for girls to resist him.

The bunny girl blushed. “Lucas, you’re the worst.”

That sent his crowd of rich friends into fits of laughter. “Lucas, you’re the worst! We have no idea just how bad you get!”

The bunny girl couldn’t take her eyes off Lucas. She looked completely smitten, like she’d forgotten anyone else was even there.

Sarah watched from across the room, jealousy burning in her chest. That was her man. Without thinking, she called out, “Lucas!”

Lucas heard her and glanced up, slow and lazy.

Sarah flashed a confident smile, her lips glossy red. “Lucas, it’s me.”

He lifted his hand. “Let her in.”

The security guard stepped aside, and Sarah walked in, her head high. “See? I told you I’m Lucas’s ex. I’m nothing like those other girls.”

She walked right up to Lucas. He lifted an eyebrow. “Sarah, what are you doing here?”

His friends started teasing. “Look who it is. Sarah. Here to wish Lucas a happy birthday too?”

Sarah shot a look at the bunny girl still perched on Lucas’s lap. “Lucas, are you seriously going to keep holding her while you talk to me?”

Laughter rippled through the group.

His friends kept going. “Looks like your ex is getting a little upset, Lucas. Is she mad?”

“I think she’s jealous, not mad.”

“Lucas, your ex showed up… this is about to get interesting.”
