A sly smile crept onto Jessa’s lips. “Relax, Louise. It’s done.”

“Perfect. With Heart Connect in place, any time David gets close to another girl, the pain will be unbearable. Only being near you will make it stop. You’re his cure now. He’ll never get away from you again.”

Jessa felt a wave of satisfaction. When she hugged David, she had quietly placed the curse on him.
