The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 728

Louise pulled out a small packet of powder and slipped it into Jessa's hand. “Take this.”

Jessa glanced down, curiosity written all over her face. “What is it, Louise?”

Louise smiled, a little sly. “It’s something special. Later, you’ll make a cup of coffee for Moss and add this to it. Well, let’s just say the effect can only be broken if a man and woman spend the night together. Tonight, I’m going to make sure we sleep together.”

Her eyes sparkled with determination. Louise had already done everything to prepare herself. If she could be with Moss tonight, she was sure she could get pregnant, maybe even have a son. With Moss’s child, she’d finally have the upper hand and defeat Joanna for good.

Jessa stared at her, wide-eyed. “Louise, where did you even get this stuff? Does it actually work?”

Louise grinned. “I didn’t buy it. I made it myself. Trust me, it works.”

Jessa’s surprise turned to disbelief. “You know how to make something like this?”

“I do,” Louise replied. “Now don’t ask so many questions. Just do what I told you. We still have time. If Moss actually risks his life to save Joanna, we’re finished. And you don’t want to go back to your old life, do you?”

Jessa quickly shook her head. There was no way she’d give up this life. She was used to being the daughter of a rich family, used to spending without thinking. The thought of losing it all terrified her.

She and Louise were stuck together in this now. She had to go along with it.

“Okay, Louise. I’ll go make the coffee right now.”

“Good. Go.”

Jessa brewed the coffee herself, quietly slipping the powder into the cup. Her hands shook a little as she knocked on the study door. “Dad, it’s me.”

She heard Moss’s voice. “Come in.”

Jessa stepped inside and set the cup on his desk. “Dad, I made you some coffee.”
