The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 679

Two short beeps, then the call ended.

Ella gripped her phone, her mind racing. What secret was hiding in that private vineyard? For Lola and Mrs. Harmon, she had to go. No matter what. And David absolutely couldn’t find out.

She went back to the office. “Mr. Harmon, Lilly just called. I need to step out for a bit.”

David didn’t even blink. “Alright. I’ll keep an eye on things here with Lola and my mom. Stay safe.”

“I will,” Ella promised, already halfway out the door.

...

Half an hour later, Ella pulled up to the private estate. A maid was waiting at the entrance. “Ms. Irvine?”

“That’s me,” Ella replied.

The maid handed her a bundle of clothes. “For our wild parties, all guests are required to change. This outfit is for you. Please put it on.”

Ella took the clothes. “Got it.”

Inside the changing room, she unfolded a black slip dress. The back was barely there, the lines daring and dangerously sexy. She didn’t have a choice. She had to put it on.

The dress hugged every curve, showing off her delicate collarbones and smooth shoulders. The bare expanse of her lower back looked almost too fragile to touch, inviting and impossible to ignore.

Ella stepped out into the party.

The place was packed with men, bodies pressed together on the dance floor, everyone moving like they were high on something. The second Ella appeared, all eyes turned to her.

A group of men immediately surrounded her. “So, you’re the beauty sent for us tonight?”

Ella’s voice was cool. “What are you talking about?”

One of the guys looked her up and down, grinning. “Someone called earlier and said they were sending a beautiful woman to…reward us. We’re supposed to have a good time tonight.”
