The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 441

Isaac climbed the stairs and pushed open the door to Brittany's office.

She was sprawled on her desk, engrossed in her design work. She really loved designing.

Her expression was almost devout as she held a drawing pen in her hand.

The sound of footsteps disturbed Brittany. Thinking it was Kari, she frowned, "Kari, I'm almost done. You go ahead."

But the footsteps didn't go away.

Suddenly, the pen in her hand was taken away. Isaac stared at her, looking dissatisfied, "Are you always this cool?"

Brittany didn't expect him to be there. She was taken aback, "What are you doing here?"

Isaac felt a pang in his heart while looking at her indifferent expression.

"Kari called me. She said that you've been working overtime for a week." Isaac took off his coat, put it on her, and without regard for her surprised look, lifted her up.

His steps were steady; each one seemed to tread on Brittany's heart.

"You said you needed space and time to think. But if you don't take care of yourself and keep working overtime, I won't give you space anymore."

Isaac carried her downstairs, where Nathan was waiting.

"Nathan, close the studio."

After stuffing Brittany into the back seat of the car, Isaac also climbed in. Brittany tried to struggle, but he held her tight. His warm breath brushed against her, making Brittany freeze immediately.

Isaac's breath quickened while his face was buried in her neck.

After a while, his voice softened.

"Bri, my head hurts. Can you give me a massage?"

He didn't have a good week either. He didn't want to go back to Radiant Residences, so he stayed at the company.

He had been thinking about how If he hadn't revealed his identity, they would be preparing for their first New Year's party.

Their apartment would be decorated for the holidays. She would pick out an outfit for him to wear for the New Year's celebration, and he would prepare a special gift for her.

If only... But there were no ifs in life.

Brittany looked surprised, "Let me go!"

Now, he wanted her to massage him?

He sat down, buckled up, and started the car.

In the back seat, Brittany didn't want to look at Isaac. He didn't seem to mind the previous unpleasantness. He leaned in and said softly, "I just miss you."

His voice had a nasal quality, sounding a bit weak.

Brittany's heart tightened a little. She hated herself. Even though she knew she was being played, she still cared for him when he was not feeling well.

She bit her lip and said nothing.

Isaac carefully took her hand, pressed it against his face, and gently rubbed it, "Bri, can I move back in?"

Brittany sighed deeply. This week, she had thought a lot.

She hated being lied to, but as Grace said, although his lying was wrong, he hadn't done anything else to hurt her.

He had even helped her a lot, both openly and covertly.

She thought that maybe they could have a heart-to-heart talk.

"Suit yourself."
