Chapter 437

3rd Person’s POV

The doors of the apartment slammed open hard enough to shake the marble walls.

“Cora!”

Rowan’s voice ripped through the air like the snarl of a beast, heavy with fury and the raw menace of a wolf straining against the last threads of restraint.

‘Get out!”

A moment later, Cora stepped out from her chamber.

The fading bruise on her cheek glowed faintly beneath the chandelier light-a dark plum stain left by Rowan’s hand the night before. But the wound to her pride cut far deeper than flesh ever could.

Even now, panic churned beneath her skin.

She had spent the entire morning trying to think of a way to regain control of him.

But one look at Rowan’s face now destroyed that hope instantly.

‘You’re finally back,” Cora said carefully, forcing herself to step closer despite the instinct screaming at her o retreat.

Rowan looked at her as though she disgusted him.

‘Save the pleasantries,” he said flatly. “I came here to make something clear.”

His voice was calm. That frightened her more than shouting ever could. “The moment you give birth to ny heir, I will reject you before every witness who attended our mating ceremony.” His eyes burned beneath the light. “The bond will be severed publicly. You will no longer be my Luna, nor tied to Blackfang n any way.”

Cora stared at him.

She genuinely thought she had misheard.

“And the child,” Rowan continued coldly, “will remain with me. You’ll nurse it during infancy if necessary. After that…” His jaw hardened. “You will never see my heir again.”

A sharp laugh escaped her lips.
