Henry hadn't expected Elias to be so decisive. He was stunned for a second, then let out a sneer, his face full of ridicule.
"Looks like that bitch Genevieve was right. Victoria really is your weak spot. You'd really do anything for her!"
Elias's face was pale, and a cold sweat beaded on his forehead, but his gaze remained as sharp as a knife, fixed on Henry. His voice was low and hoarse. "I did what you said, Henry. Let her go!"
Henry snorted twice, going back on his word. "Let her go? When did I promise to let her go? I just said I'd let go."
As he spoke, he released the strap of her nightgown. Then, he began to brazenly caress Victoria's face while looking provocatively at Elias. "So soft and fragrant… Elias, where do you think I should start?"
Henry's gaze was naked as he looked Victoria up and down, as if seriously considering which part of her would feel the best.
Elias's fists clenched so tight his knuckles cracked and turned white. The killing intent in his eyes was about to overflow.
"Henry, you'd better think about the consequences!"
"Consequences? You think you can stop me in your current state? Oh, right, I forgot. You can still crawl over and bite me." With that, Henry burst into a fit of crazed laughter, then tightened his grip on Victoria's neck and continued viciously:
"Elias, you never thought you'd see this day, did you!"
"The great head of the Shawn Group, kneeling before me like a dog, begging me, watching as I f—"
Before he could finish, Elias, who had been on his knees, moved.
He moved so fast it was almost a blur. The switchblade, the one Victoria had dropped earlier, was in his hand. He hurled it at Henry.
The knife cut through the air, a sharp gleam of cold light, aimed straight for Henry's throat.
Henry's pupils contracted. He instinctively released Victoria and twisted his body to dodge. The knife grazed his neck, leaving a bloody line.
"Damn it!" Henry clutched his neck, a vicious look in his eyes. He grinned menacingly and moved to press the yellow button on the remote. "Fine. Excellent. Since you're all so eager to die, then you can all go to—"
He hadn't finished his sentence when a cold light flashed before his eyes, immediately followed by the sound of a blade piercing flesh.
The smile on Henry's face froze. His pupils widened in disbelief as he slowly looked down.
