Chapter 86 Nina Wants Grandpa
Finished
Amelia’s method meant half the medicine always spilled during Nina’s squirming, but she poured enough so that even after losing half, Nina still got the full intended dose.
Once the medicine was in. Nina didn’t even want her mom anymore. She didn’t want her dad either.
I want Grandpa?” she cried.
Pressed down by her dad and forced to open her mouth by her mom, Nina was heartbroken.
She started crying for William again!
She slid right out of Benjamin’s arms, grabbed her toy excavator, and stomped her chubby feet toward the door
Amelia sighed helplessly. “Nina, your grandpa isn’t back yet. He’s abroad, very, very far away.”
Nina had no idea what ‘abroad’ meant. She hadn’t even been outside Averton!
Still ignorant of the world. Nina cried as she walked. “Nina ride car!”
She knew going far meant riding a taxi.
Seeing she was really about to run outside. Amelia finally pulled out the ultimate weapon.
Nina, come here. Let’s watch five minutes of the cartoon.”
The moment the cartoon was mentioned. Nina—already at the doorway-wiped her eyes and toddled back.
“Mommy, turn on!” Her milky voice still trembled with leftover tears as she demanded the cartoon.
Amelia quietly sighed.
Today is special. Just let Nina watch a little.
With the cartoon on, Nina sat obediently on the sofa, glued to the big TV screen. She didn’t react even when her parents applied the ointment to her rash.
“Benjamin, did you finish her arm?” Amelia asked.
“Yeah, done, Benjamin replied.
“Good. This ointment needs to be used four times a day. I checked-this medicine only eases the itching, it can’t stop it completely.”
Ever since Nina was born, Amelia had been researching everything related to babies-food, clothes, medication. Nothing escaped her study.
Now she researched Nina’s medication while preparing herself for a long night ahead.
There was no way Nina would sleep peacefully tonight.

Chapter 86 Nina Wants Grandpa
They stayed in Benjamin’s office for the entire afternoon.
Finished
And throughout the afternoon, Benjamin barely worked. He kept checking on Nina every now and then.
Nina watched cartoons and played with toys, with Amelia by her side the whole time, trying to distract her.
Time slipped to nearly six o’clock.
Benjamin, who usually stayed at the office until late, stood up before six this time and picked Nina up.
“It’s time for dinner,” he said. “Let’s go.”
Amelia answered softly and followed.
Walking beside him, she sneaked glances at Benjamin’s profile.
She wasn’t admiring his looks. She was simply realizing why Benjamin didn’t have the stereotypical CEO stomach problems. His meals were even more regular than hers.
Not just his meals-he had a training room at home and outdoor facilities elsewhere. His exercise routine was always on track.
She sighed inwardly. A surprisingly healthy CEO.
After sighing, she looked at Benjamin again.
This time, he caught her.
Benjamin gave her a curious look, as if asking what she was thinking.
Amelia felt her ears heat up. She quickly turned away without a word.
She muttered about him in her heart, feeling slightly guilty.
The two adults didn’t talk much, but Nina was enough to fill the silence.
Her pudgy little butt sat on Benjamin’s arm. Every time she saw something, she had to comment.
“Big tree!”
She meant the huge potted plants in the hallway.
“Many people!”
She saw the employees still working in the open office area.
“Daddy, go work money.”
Nina’s thoughts hopped around wildly. One sentence never connected to the next.
Benjamin was still learning to adapt to her chaotic baby-talk.
He responded with a calm “Yeah.”
