“I hunted down Mariano and got to know him since I’m covering Thalia’s classes,” Uncle Damian says with a big smile on his face.

“You did what?” I asked him, I thought they didn’t know each other.

“I wanted to meet him, he’s the alpha of the neighbor pack, and he’s your friend mate, and he drives you around, what if he was evil?” Uncle Damian says.

“Right, he’s so evil, it’s scary,” I groaned, that wasn’t fair of him, now we have to watch what we say in front of Mariano.

“Turns out he’s not, and this the place where we’ll be staying and living in the future,” he says parking in front of a house, a big house, more of

“Thank you,” I say shaking hands with her as well, River parked his car and joined us as well, we all went into the house. Uncle Damian showed me his room where we’ll be staying togther, he told that it’s expected of mates to sleep in same room, but he’ll take the floor if I feel uncomfortable sleeping next to him.

“It’s fine,” I say my cheeks turning bloody red.

“You wanna freshen up and then I’ll take you on a grand tour?” he asks me and I nod, that sounds good.

“Deal,” I say, changing into comfy clothes, the first impression is done, and now it’s time to have some fun.

“Let’s get going,” he says offering me a hand, we didn’t take the car this time, instead we got out walking.

“Where we going?” I ask him.

“I’m going to show you everything, we got a lake around here, we got caves, we got hiking/roads, we got some apple trees we can pick, or maybe some berries, we got berries bushes…” he says rambling, it’s the first time I see him so care free, like he doesn’t care, he was so relaxed

“Maybe, we can start with…” I start thinking of what we could start with, we had a tone of options.

“Yeah, let’s start with the burries, aunt Whitney makes a mean tarte with them, we can have it as dessert after dinner,” he says, sounding like a very excited child, who am I to bust his bubble, and I love berries.

“Deal, let’s go,” I say, matching his excitement, I was happy about this as well, I am excited as well.

He ran, he doesn’t walk he runs, he dragged me along with him, he walked through the forest road, he knew the way, and I just followed him, we made it to the said bushes, he left me there, and ran toward a nearby house and got a small basket for us to put the berries in.

“Do you know why we’re called the Blue thorn?” he asks, eating a berry, and placing one in the basket, I joined him too, I liked the taste of the super fresh berries.
