Chapter 125
“How nice of you Noelle, didn’t know you were such a fan,” I say joining the teasing, this reminds me of Flower, the good old days.
“Would you like a coffee?” Mia offers.
“Yes, please,” I say. smiling, I didn’t mind spending some more time in their home, it’s small and cozy, even for such a small house, the inside felt wide and didn’t give a claustrophobic feeling to it.
“Sugar? Cream?” she asks next.
“Black is good,” I assure her, she gave me a big cup of coffee, and made one for herslef, we sat on the sofa while Noelle sat on a chair facing us.
“So Ellie told me you’re part of the military but you moved back home,” she says.
“Yeah, some shit happened and I came back, alpha suggested I give them some training classes, and Noelle happened to be one of my best students,” I say honestly, she’s one of the most active student and one who pushes herself as far as possible.
“Some shit happened with us as well, and then I looked into my mother side of the family and we landed here, she’s a Savage too,” she says telling me about her mother.
“Really? We might be related after all then,” I say with a small smile on my face.
“Yeah, maybe we’re cousins,” she says, matching my small smile.

“So you like it here?” I ask her.
“It’s nice so far, we’re happy we made the move,” she says.
“Happy to have you here as well, so what do you do?” I ask her, other than being an older sister.
“I’m looking for a job, but there isn’t many around here; Beta said I might need to check with the common grounds between packs for a job, but that needs a car, and I don’t own one,” she says, sounding frustrated, she does need a car to move anywhere outside the pack territory.
“I’ll talk to the alpha, maybe we can both find some kind of job and we’ll carpool,” I say, the words were a shock even for me, why the hell did I say that? I would like to help her, but I don’t need to be her personal chauffeur, nor do I need the job, but maybe a change in the scene would help me out.
“I don’t want to be a burden,” she says blushing.
“None at all, if we get one, I’ll tell Noelle and she’ll tell you,” I say, – talking myself into it, she just nods agreeing but doesn’t comment
anymore.
Levent POV.
“Hey, Emmalynn, I want to find a job,” I say, giving her a serious look.
“A job? You’re still part of the military and you got your training job, and I know you got money stashed away,” she answers me.
“It’s not that Beta, but I need a job, actually two,” I say, thinking of Mia, we both need a job together to spend some extra time together.
“Two? Now there’s a story behind it, start talking,” she ordered me, and I gave her a shrug.

“Talk, or else,” she warns me making me smile, it’s funny, the way she’s trying to sound authoritative but still joking and messing with
me
“Fine. I’ll talk no need to get violent,” I say, putting both hands up.
“Yes, tell,” she says and I sighed, finally telling her about it.
“I walked Noelle home, and she invited me in, and I met her, older sister.” I start.
“You met Mia? Did she say something?” she says worriedly.
“Yeah, I met Mia, she said she needs a job but can’t get one because she needs a car,” I explain.
“She needs a job and she needs a car, what does that have to do with you,” she asks me.
“She’s…she’s…” I say not sure how to explain it to the Beta, that I felt sorry for her, that as Noelle likes to put it, misery likes company and we’re both miserable.
“She’s? Yes? Continue,” she says.
“She’s miserable, just like me,” I say.
“Yeah, I know, I know her story, but that still doesn’t explain why you want to have a job for her,” she says.
“You know her story?” I repeat her words, looking at her, hoping she’d tell me what made her so sad.
