I’m starting to build my own routine. I’m starting to create another life back at home, and that includes going over to my parent’s place to have dinner and be attacked over not visiting enough, over being too thin, and everything else you could think of under the sun, my parents have managed to whine over it and make it some kind of accusation at me.

The next day. I repeated the same routine, I’d get breakfast along with the alpha and the rest of the pack, I’d train the youngsters, I’d walk Noelle home every time. In the last week, every time I walked her home, she’d open up just a tiny bit more, talking to me, sometimes she only talks about the training and how hard it is but that she’s getting better, others she’ll talk to me about the guys in the pack and how they are treating her.

We made it to her house like we did for the last week, we train every single day, wolves don’t need the rest time humans need to recover, they can train every single day of the year and they’ll be just fine, I was ready to just drop her and go back home to the rest of my routine, and my pretends that I’m just fine and getting better, fake it till you make it.

“That’s your sister Noelle, you shouldn’t laugh at her,” I say, looking at the closed door, I felt like a certified jerk walking into her house unannounced, she’s in the safety of her home, if she wanna cry while wearing her bunny PJ, it’s none of my business to walk into her house.

“I know, but it’s funny,” she says, objecting, maybe it is funny from the point of view of a teenager, but for her, that’s the most terrifying

moment ever.

“I’m sorry Miss, I’ll get out of your house now,” I say feeling like shit, if Viki was here, she’d smack my head for invading a female’s privacy.

“Hey, you don’t have to leave, it’s okay, I just didn’t know Noelle invited anyone in,” she says.

“I’m sorry, she just asked me to come in and I didn’t expect it to be bad time,” I say, noticing she changed from the PJ into some sweats, and having her hair turned into a less messy bun, one that’s more

presentable.
