"You just introduced me to him as your friend!" Benjamin said in a low voice, "Am I just a friend? Is it so hard for you to admit I'm your husband?"

I just wanted to hide it from Joel for the time being, but Benjamin immediately exposed my lies, which was extremely embarrassing.

Ellis let go of me and then grabbed my hand. I looked at the three people in the living room and said to Benjamin, "Let's go home."

Victoria was here, but I didn't want to talk to her.

I still remembered how she warned me that day on the cruise ship. I was not a good-tempered person, so I simply ignored her.

Sean interrupted me and said, "Let's go out for dinner later. Besides, we gotta throw a party for Ellis."

I asked Benjamin, "Do you want to go back after dinner?"

He faintly looked at me and Ellis beside me, and said with deep emotions in his eyes, "It's up to you. We can go home now or after dinner."

I said, "Then let's go home. I still have a lot of things to do in the evening." I wasn't too willing to sit together with Victoria for a meal.

Benjamin took his coat from the sofa and put it on. He went to me and bent over to hold Ellis in his arms. Just as we were about to leave, Victoria's voice came, "Ben, stay for dinner with me, will you?"

"Aunt Victoria, Ben can have whatever meal with you tomorrow." Ellis yawned and said, "I want to go home now to take a bath and sleep."

Victoria said helplessly, "Then I will hang out with you tomorrow."
