Gorgeous Couple’s Sweet Love novel Chapter 67

When we were in the car, Ellis sat behind and asked delightedly, "Emma, am I handsome? Am I tall?"

Ellis was an extremely handsome boy, who dressed in trendy, fashionable clothes. Besides, his skin was very tender, so his little face looked delicate, like a fragile doll.

I stared at his face for a long time before praising him, "You are very handsome."

But how tall could a five-year-old be?

He smiled happily. "Glad to know you like me."

His words, for some reason, left a good impression on me.

I looked at him and then turned to look at Benjamin's eyes. They were equally noble and cold.

And they were both with long eyelashes. I exclaimed, "Your eyes look very similar to the eyes of Benjamin. You are both quite charming."

"Really? But I think I look better than him." Ellis reached out and brushed his eyelashes.

I smiled. Ellis was really interesting.

When we returned to the Elysia, Benjamin held him in his arms. I walked behind him and looked at his broad back, which blocked Ellis's whole body. At that moment, I felt very warm in my heart.

If there was a child in the future of Benjamin, he would definitely be a good father.

After returning home, I began to cook dinner. Benjamin put the child down and sneaked to the kitchen. He asked in confusion, "Where is the sitter?"

"She's still on New Year vacation." I chopped the vegetables and casually asked, "What do you want to eat for dinner?"

Benjamin lowered his body and put his lips close to my ear, whispering, "What do you think? I want to eat you, Mrs. Dunn."

With a blush on my face, I tilted my head and glared at him to warn, "There's a kid in the house, in case you don't remember."

"He can't hear it anyway." Benjamin indifferently put his arms around his chest and said with his head slightly drooping, "Ellis likes eating shrimp."

"Is there any shrimp at home?"

I turned around and opened the fridge. There were still shrimps.

When Benjamin strolled out of the kitchen, I heard him say to Ellis, "If you want to stay here, remember to help your Aunty Retard with the chores."

I was speechless. Can I seal his mouth?

As soon as he finished his words, Ellis immediately ran into the kitchen and asked me, "Aunty Emma, is there anything I can do?" Ellis was a good child, at least she didn't call me an Aunty Retard.

I handed him the garlic and said, "You took this to go out and peeled it while watching TV with Benjamin. Tell him I asked him to do it."

"Oh, okay." Ellis left with a bowl of garlic. I was busy in the kitchen for five minutes. Then I tilted my head and looked at the living room.

Ellis was sitting next to Benjamin, with his head down. He was peeling garlic, while Benjamin was lazily leaning on the sofa for a long time before finally peeling one.

That man was slow-walking me!

But... his fingers were really good- looking, slender, beautiful and delicate, which I liked to hold in my hands very much.

I was stunned for two minutes before I realized that I had been tempted by him again. When I was about to take my eyes off him, Benjamin suddenly looked over at me with a smile. I was stunned again, and then I glanced sideways at him.

It took me very long to finish preparing dinner. When the dishes were served on the table, Benjamin asked in confusion, "Why did you spend so much time?"

I took the apron off and explained, "It's not like your nephew comes around every day. I gotta treat him to a nice meal."

"My nephew?" Benjamin frowned, and then stretched out his hand to rub my head and said, "Your imagination is really rich."

"What's wrong? Isn't he?"

According to my speculation, Connor Dunn, Ellis's father, had to be Benjamin's brother.

Benjamin ignored me and sat down to eat. After dinner, Benjamin went to wash the dishes. I quickly stopped him and said, "Go and spend some time with the children."

"The sitter hasn't come back to work yet," explained Benjamin. "Since you cooked, I'll wash the dishes."

"What..."

Why wasn't he so attentive at noon?

Although I was puzzled, I was happy and relaxed.

I went back to my bedroom to change the bedsheet and did the same in Benjamin's bedroom. I held the bedsheet and asked Ellis, who had been following me, "Do you want to sleep with Benjamin tonight?"

Hearing this, Ellis shook his head sadly and said, "Benjamin just warned me that if I want to sleep with you or him later, I will immediately take a plane back to City B tomorrow. He's always so mean!"

I didn't know what to say.

Benjamin was so naive and jealous of a child!

I put the sheet into the laundry machine and turned it on. Then I squatted beside Ellis and said, "It's okay. There are only two rooms for us to sleep. Later, I will drive Benjamin out of my room. He has no choice but to sleep with you."

Suddenly, Ellis's gloomy face lit up. At nine o'clock, I found that my plan was just a hypothesis.

Because Ellis had already been snoring by eight, so it was totally up to Benjamin where he was to sleep.

Benjamin closed the door gently. He came over and sat beside me, saying, "I didn't intend for him to come at all, but Victoria brought him here."

I knew that Benjamin did not want him to run around.

"Since the child wants to play, let him have fun. What's more, as his uncle, you shouldn't turn down his little wishes, should you?"

Benjamin narrowed his eyes and asked, "Aren't you afraid of the trouble?"

I was confused. "What trouble do I have to be afraid of?"

"Since you are not afraid of the trouble, let him stay." Benjamin stretched out his hand and pulled me into his arms. He said softly, "I'm afraid that he will cause trouble for you."

"Emma. I don't like Zack very much, so you stay away from him in the future, as far away as possible!"

"Benjamin, why do you hate him?" I said frankly, "Zack said that you grew up in the same big yard before. Why did you eventually end up estranged from each other? Did he do something wrong to you?"

Benjamin suddenly looked at me and said after a long time, "Don't ask."

I was stunned and dared not ask again.

It seemed that I had touched some secret of him just now.

If Benjamin decided that he wanted to bury a secret, then it would stay buried. I realized that I could never get close to his heart.

"Let bygones be bygones, Emma. We'll live a good life in the future." Benjamin held me in his arms and said, "You don't have to pay attention to Zack in the future. You don't need to believe anything he says."

He said that I should not believe whatever Zack said.

Then what about him? Could I believe what he said to me?

Besides, Zack had said that he would never lie to me.

So whose words would should I believe?

I couldn't figure it out, so I didn't dare to think about it anymore.

Before going to sleep, Benjamin was in a bad mood. He smoked a few cigarettes on the balcony before returning to the bedroom and held me back in his arms to sleep.

When I woke up the next day, Benjamin was not by my side. I opened the door and went out of the bedroom to see that Ellis had already dressed up and was sitting on the sofa to do his homework. I went over and asked, "Where is Benjamin?"

"Went to work." Ellis looked up at me and said in a soft voice, "Auntie, Benjamin made breakfast. He reminded me to watch you eat before you go to work."

I smiled and thanked him. After breakfast, I sat down beside Ellis and asked casually, "What are you doing?"

"English, the subject I hate the most."

What would a five- year- old learn about English?

I asked him, "What grade are you in?"

Ellis answered obediently, "Second grade."

I finally understood why he praised himself to be smarter than his neighbor's junior high school sister. He actually skipped grades.

"You didn't go to kindergarten?" I asked.

The characters written by Ellis were immature, and there were also some spelling errors in them. He didn't seem quite fit with his grade.

"Well, I went to the second grade as soon as I returned from abroad." Ellis said with a smile, "I can write Spanish, French, but I don't know English very well."

"You've been living overseas all this while?" I asked in surprise.
