Sylas didn't need more words than this to know what Gwenu meant. It seemed that he would be able to trade for the legacies of the other Lineages after all. Now it was just a matter of… how much.
Seeing the prices for trade, though, Sylas had no choice but to temper whatever excitement he was feeling. He had expected as much, but the prices were still incredibly steep.
The division system of War Points was quite straightforward. There was a formula to understand the value of everything.
The first division was by Tier Grade. There were F-tier, E-tier, D-tier, and even C-tier challenges set up.
However, this was just the first and most basic division.
Beyond this, every Tier Grade was further divided into three divisions. These divisions were known as the Soldier Grade, the General Grade, and the Warlord Grade.
These were essentially difficulty scalings.
There were by far the most Soldier Grade challenges. These were the sort of challenges that the Sanctum expected their disciples to be capable of clearing.
Of course, they were still a great challenge. It could be said that most disciples of median strength would be facing crises of life and death when facing off against these Soldier Grade challenges.
Then there were General Grade challenges. These were challenges that would threaten the life of even those in the top 100 of the Tier Rankings.
Finally, there were the Warlord Grade challenges. These were challenges designed for those who were reaching beyond the realms of normalcy. Even the likes of Gwenu and Morvok, who ranked two and one respectively on their leaderboards, would have better than 90% odds of death when facing such a challenge.
The only disciples who could easily clear a Warlord Grade challenge would be those ranked quite high in a superior tier of strength. But… one was only allowed to challenge within one's tier and higher—never lower.
It could be said that when they formed these Warlord Grade challenges, they didn't expect anyone to be able to clear them. However, the rewards for doing so were likewise excellent.
A Soldier Grade challenge could be worth anywhere from around 3 to 10 War Points. A General Grade challenge was worth anywhere from 50 to 100 War Points.
A Warlord Grade challenge, though? Their lowest War Points rewarded started at five figures.
However, Sylas saw several problems with this.
The first was that there were too few of these Warlord Grade challenges.
In the F-tier, there were only four of them, and one of them required leaving this Sector entirely. The other three were all related to Dungeons.
