“Right,” Martin agreed. “We’ll pull the money out on Friday. Once we invest that into the new project, the Mercer family’s transition will be pretty much complete.”

As soon as he finished, Sabrina eagerly chimed in. “Bella and Sebastian have set the date. The wedding is on the last Saturday two months from now. Honey, I was thinking… maybe we could cash out some of the stock to prepare a dowry for Bella? She’s marrying into the Blake family, after all. It wouldn’t look right if her dowry was too modest.”

Martin was in a celebratory mood. After the Mercer family’s incredible momentum over the past few days, the cost of a dowry was nothing.
