Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 510

Bella was still disappointed. She looked at Sebastian with a long face. "Sebastian, this is my one and only wedding. I want it to be the most beautiful memory. I…"

Before she could finish, Sebastian cut her off. "I understand. I'll have my assistant get you a black card. You have full authority over all the wedding arrangements.

"But I'm swamped with company matters, and I can't get away. I hope you can understand."

Sebastian was clearly trying to throw money at the problem to make it go away.

Bella didn't quite grasp this at the moment; she only thought Sebastian must still love her very much.

Sebastian used to give Lillian a black card. Now that they were divorced, it had naturally been taken back.

Now, it was her turn.

Sebastian was busy, but Bella was just as busy as anyone.

With such a large company to run, Sebastian was always occupied.

He couldn't offer much help with the wedding itself, but as long as the money was there, Bella was fine with it.

"I understand. The company comes first. I'll take care of the wedding arrangements so you don't have to worry."

Sebastian smiled, but the smile vanished as quickly as it appeared.

Bella sensed that something was on his mind.

However, since Sebastian didn't bring it up, she didn't feel it was her place to ask. A moment's thought told her it was probably because of his parents' opposition.

She didn't know what those two old folks were objecting to. What was so wrong with her?

Why did they treat her like this?

Besides, she had always done a pretty good job.

Therefore, Bella never inquired about how Debbie spent her private time.

She never called Debbie at night either. What if she interrupted something important? That would be awkward.

And if she did find out about Debbie's affairs, what then? Should she tell Sebastian, or not?

Bella had seen how wild wealthy women could be.

Because she had seen it, she knew better than to meddle.

Some things were better left unknown.

However, Bella had grossly overestimated Debbie. The woman had lost interest in romance years ago. The only things that mattered to her were money and gambling.

It was only after she returned to Halfridge Villas that Lillian remembered she had forgotten to mention Debbie to the Blakes.
