Daniel repeated the word, his voice raised. He then looked at Evan as if he were some bizarre circus freak. "Weren't you two already getting a divorce? Didn't she already sign the papers with you?"
Daniel was completely lost, his face a question mark.
Unfortunately, Evan didn't seem to be in the mood to explain. He just said in a cold voice, "I need you to look someone up for me."
"Who?" Daniel asked casually as he drove.
Evan's brow tightened as he tried to recall the man named Nathan. The problem was, he knew almost nothing about him, not even his name.
"He's a doctor. That's all I know."
"Okay, got a picture? Send it to me."
"No picture. I only know he's a male doctor at St. Aurelia Private Medical Center."
"Are you kidding me!?"
Daniel's eyebrows shot up, looking at the man beside him in absolute shock. "You don't have a name, and you don't have a picture, so how the hell am I supposed to find him for you?"
Seriously, what a joke. Did Evan think he was a miracle worker? There were tons of doctors at St. Aurelia Private Medical Center. How was he supposed to know which one Evan was looking for?
Evan's expression was cold and emotionless. "That's your problem."
"The hell it is! You think I'm your personal slave working for free?!" Daniel snapped, irritated by Evan's dead tone.
"The Stonehaven City project. It's all yours."
"Seriously?!"
