Chapter 453 Quiet Trust
“I’m fine. I’m just a little tired,” Cora said softly.
After that, she drifted back into a light sleep.

“Don’t worry,” Amelia explained gently. “After the blocked blood is cleared, feeling weak or light-headed is normal. You just need some good rest.”
She could tell everyone was nervous, afraid Cora might pass out again, so she spoke calmly to reassure them.
“That’s good. That’s really good.”
Once Cora was settled, everyone finally let out a long breath. Their tension faded, replaced by deep admiration for Amelia’s skill.
“Ms. Amelia, you’re incredible,” one doctor said. “Were those needles specially made?”
“May I ask where you learned your needle therapy?” another asked. “Was it from Professor Preston? But Professor Preston studies medicine; he shouldn’t be trained in this, right?”
“Ms. Amelia, do you have time later?” a third expert asked eagerly. “I’d love to discuss a few difficult cases with you. How did you treat brain bleeding without surgery?”
One by one, the top experts in the field spoke up. They looked less like authorities now and more like curious students, asking questions with sincere respect.
Brielle stood there, completely stunned. She couldn’t say a word.
With Walter present, she didn’t dare to speak carelessly. And even if she wanted to argue, she had nothing left to say.
The truth was right in front of her. Amelia really was that good, so good that Brielle had no choice but to accept it.
“I still have other matters to attend to,” Amelia said politely. “We can talk more another time.”
If she stopped to explain everything in detail, she would never have enough time.
Nydia trusted her even more now and liked her all the more. She quickly said she would invite Amelia to the Jordans’ home for dinner soon.
“Thank you for saving my mother,” Nydia said sincerely. “I also heard that Floyd likes you very much. I’d like to invite you to the estate to have dinner. Please don’t turn me down.”
“Of course,” Amelia replied.
Standing nearby, Esmond looked uneasy. He clearly realized that his earlier doubts and harsh words had been inappropriate.
He glanced at Walter, then turned to Amelia and apologized sincerely.

“I’m sorry, Ms. Amelia. I was too worried about my mother and didn’t think things through. I hope you won’t take it to heart.”
“Mmm,” Amelia replied, giving a small nod.
She still wasn’t sure whether this man was an ally or an enemy, or whether he truly had any connection to Regina.
Until she figured that out, she chose to stay reserved and keep her distance.
After the matter finally settled, Jeremy left the hospital with Amelia and Walter.
Once they stepped outside, Jeremy kindly said he needed to return to the office to handle some work. In truth, he was giving space to the mentor and student.
He knew they had not seen each other in a long time. Of course, they would want to talk alone.
So, he excused himself and left first.
Seeing how thoughtful he was, Amelia couldn’t help but smile.
In her heart, she quietly gave him more points.
“Walter, why are you here?” she asked.
“Jeremy told me what happened,” Walter replied. “So I came.”
Amelia was a little surprised. But at the same time, it made perfect sense.
That man had told Nydia about how Amelia saved Cora because he knew she wanted to get close to the Jordans.
Once the Jordans owed her a favor, future contact would come naturally.
He also knew Amelia was secretly investigating the Jordans. She needed a reason to approach them without raising suspicion.
So, he carefully planned everything for her. Jeremy even helped her connect with Nydia.
He also expected the Jordans to question her skills. They would doubt her, pressure her, and mock her.
That was why he brought Walter here-the most respected authority of all.
With Walter’s presence and their mentor-student relationship, all doubts were silenced at once.
Jeremy, how could he be so considerate? So understanding of her? Always thinking ten steps ahead for her, yet never saying a word about it?
