Chapter 451 The Formula Under Question
Finiste
Cora started coughing up blood right after taking this medicine; it was only natural for Esmond to question the formula.
When Esmond asked her directly, Sabrina-already under pressure-became even more uneasy.
The problem was, she couldn’t even tell what ingredients were inside.
The liquid had a clear herbal scent, but there was also something unusual mixed in. It was difficult to describe.
Its color was dark, almost black, with a faint purple tint.
It looked unsettling at first glance.
Anyone could tell it had been made using special techniques and carefully blended ingredients.
“Ms. Jordan,” Amelia said, “your uncle is asking you a question. Why don’t you just tell him what’s in the formula?”
Amelia wasn’t angry. She didn’t stop them from examining her custom-made medicine either.
In fact, she was curious. She wanted to see if Sabrina could actually explain it.
“I…” Sabrina parted her lips, but no words came out.
Brielle thought she was holding back and shouted, “Sabrina, don’t worry about her! If there’s something wrong, just say it!”
Unfortunately, Sabrina still couldn’t say anything.
Amelia let out a fake smile. “Yes, follow your cousin’s advice. Go on, speak freely.”
She paused, then added lightly, “Or you actually can’t tell?”
Anyone qualified to enter PharmaCore 01 should be able to identify basic ingredients just by smell.
That was the most basic skill. Not knowing the exact dosage or weight was understandable.
But failing to recognize the ingredients themselves? That was embarrassing.
This was the minimum requirement to even get through the door at PharmaCore O1.
The Jordans all knew this. That was why they were so confident she would recognize it.
But now, Sabrina couldn’t.
“Sabrina, don’t be scared of her! Just say it!” Brielle urged again.
Under Brielle’s constant pushing, Sabrina almost lost control. She really wanted to slap her.
It was humiliating.

Chapter 451 The Formula Under Question
In the end, Sabrina had no choice but to speak. She forced herself to name a few ingredients she recognized.
“There must be ray flower, purple vine root, blucleaf herb, and phantom lotus and…”
She paused. She couldn’t identify the rest.
Finished
Anyone with real knowledge knew it was impossible for the formula to contain only a few ingredients.
Not wanting others to notice that she couldn’t name them all, Sabrina smoothly changed the topic.
“These herbs are all extremely cold in nature. They’re not suitable for Grandma. She’s probably coughing up blood because of this.”
The moment she finished speaking, Brielle jumped up, just as Sabrina expected.
“Amelia,
you
did this on purpose!” Brielle shouted. “You’re trying to kill my grandma, aren’t you?
“She was already weak, and you still gave her all these harsh herbs. Don’t pretend this is treatment. You’re using it as an excuse to hurt her!
“You’re doing this because my grandma once arranged an engagement between Sabrina and Jeremy, right? You’re holding a grudge!
“If my grandma dies, then there’s no way our families can ever be united by marriage. That’s what you want, isn’t it?”
Brielle’s thoughts spiraled faster and faster. If Cora had surgery and something went wrong, Amelia could give the excuse that she wasn’t skilled enough.
But by insisting she could cure Cora, Amelia was pushing her grandmother toward death.
The more Brielle thought about it, the more convinced she became
This woman was truly wicked.
Amelia opened her mouth, but no word came out.
She honestly felt that this idiot had an impressive imagination. Not becoming an actress was a waste of
talent.
No, she should be a scriptwriter. Even the scriptwriter at her company couldn’t come up with a plot this wild.
