Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 628

So what if Natalie knew she wasn't the Ward family's biological daughter? She was still doted on by her parents.

Even if Natalie tried every trick in the book to drive her out of the Ward family, it wouldn't affect her in the slightest.

She must be so frustrated. And when she saw Marie being announced as the new heir of the Ward family, she would probably die of anger!

The more Marie thought about stealing the spotlight at the banquet and becoming the new heir, the more she pictured Natalie’s face contorted with rage, and the happier she became.

This was how her life was supposed to be. The world was her oyster, and everything was under her control.

In the underground parking garage of the Ward Group.

Marie drove the new Maybach that Richard had bought for her, attracting countless gazes along the way. She felt incredibly smug as she got out, locked the door, and headed for the company elevator.

Suddenly, someone ran up to her.

“Ms. Ward, wait! I need to talk to you.”

Marie turned around and saw Natalie’s mother, Kate Verdan.

Her expression instantly soured, her eyes filled with disdain.

What was she doing here?

“Who are you? I don’t know some country bumpkin reeking of poverty,” Marie said dismissively.

As Marie started to walk away, Kate hurried after her. “Ms. Ward, I’m Natalie’s mother. We met at the Lockwood family’s home.”

Kate let out a visible sigh of relief, but Marie scoffed. “Who are you calling ‘child’? Are you crazy? Coming all the way here just to ask me if I pushed that filthy, disgusting man? Who the hell do you think you are to question me like that?”

Kate felt a sharp pain in her chest. Even though she had never raised her, how could she speak to her like this? She was her biological mother.

Kate stared intently at Marie. “Who do I think I am? I am your biological mother.”

Hearing this, Marie grew even more furious.

“What nonsense are you spouting? Are you insane? Claiming to be my mother? You’ve got some nerve saying something like that.”

“You have a red birthmark on your back, about the size of a fingernail. You’ve had it since you were born.”

“You think you can claim to be my mother just because of a birthmark? That’s laughable. Who told you about my birthmark? It was Natalie, wasn’t it? What are you two trying to pull now?”
