Marie then pointed an accusing finger at Natalie. “What do you mean the report is wrong? I think you're the one who won't give up trying to ruin me! Natalie, how dare you? How dare you say I'm not my parents' daughter? They've raised me for over twenty years. Don't you think they'd know? Who are you to spout such nonsense?”
Elaine was also furious, pointing at Natalie. “You witch! You killed my son, and now you keep trying to harm my daughter! And Terence, you're defending a woman like her, bullying our family. Do you really think the Wards are that easy to push around?”
Terence's eyes darkened. “She's with me. I'll always protect her.”
Elaine was shocked that even with the evidence right in front of them, Terence was still so protective of Natalie.
He was walking all over the Ward family. It was infuriating.
“Can I see the DNA report?”
Natalie stepped forward to ask Richard. This report had to be compromised.
Richard sneered, “Open your eyes and look closely. Marie is my daughter! Do you really think having Terence backing you means you can do whatever you want?”
Natalie reached for the report, but just as her fingers touched the paper, Marie snatched it away.
Even though Darren had arranged everything, a fake was still a fake, and she couldn't risk it being exposed. It was best not to let Natalie see it at all.
Marie held the report, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Why should I let you see my DNA report with my parents? What are you planning to do with it? Are you going to nitpick every detail and claim it's a forgery? Hmph. Natalie, let me tell you, I won't give you any chance to frame me!”
Natalie looked at Marie. She should have known the report would be faked.
“It was Hanley who told you we spoke to Richard about you not being his daughter, wasn't it?”
Natalie found it laughable. She was betrayed by her own son.
