Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 467

“The Cross Group was already a complete mess,” Lucas said coolly. “Marie secretly used funds from the Ward Group to prop you up for a while, but now the Ward Group has pulled its investment. Your company is teetering on the brink of collapse. All it takes is a little push to topple it.”

Lucas was usually so carefree and flippant, but now he was speaking with a chilling seriousness. Every word he uttered sent a wave of pressure crashing over Hanley, making his heart race with panic.

“What did you do, Lucas?” Hanley ground out through his teeth.

Lucas didn’t even bother to look at him. “You couldn’t even figure out what I was just doing? With an IQ like that, you still want to get into the youth program at the Helios Institute?”

Enraged, Hanley shouted, “Stop playing games with me! What did you do? Tell me now!”

The teacher noticed the two boys arguing and was about to intervene when Liana handed Hanley another note.

[You want to know what my brother did? You’ll find out when you get home. If you don’t understand, you should learn. Take notes!]

Hanley felt like he was going to explode. All day, he had been either criticized or mocked, and now even Liana was taunting him.

“Liana, I can’t believe your kindness was all an act. You’re no better than the rest of them!”

[My kindness was for you as Natalie’s son. But someone who frames my daddy doesn’t deserve my kindness!]

Though she couldn’t speak, Liana had always been a gentle and polite person. Even when Hanley had repeatedly caused trouble for them at school, she had never held it against him because she didn't want to create conflict that would put Natalie in a difficult position.

But this time, Hanley had gone too far. Framing their father like that—a person like him didn’t deserve an ounce of their goodwill.
