Natalie's words were so casual, as if the matter had nothing to do with her.
"Why are you still being like this? I've explained everything, I even arranged this whole drone show for you. Why won't you forgive me?"
Natalie didn't respond, just watched quietly as Darren lost his composure.
Her silence made Darren even more frantic. He would rather have her yell and question him than face this wall of indifference.
Why, after he had gone to such lengths, was she still treating him this way?
Darren fought to suppress the anger and frustration rising within him.

Just then, the drones in the night sky shifted their formation once more, forming a vow.

Natalie watched as the drones spelled out the oath, and another wave of gasps came from the crowd in the distance.
Darren looked at Natalie, his voice filled with emotion. "I was too hasty. I was too eager to remarry you, but I forgot that I needed to earn your forgiveness first."
Natalie was surprised by Darren's newfound tolerance for her coldness.
His eyes looked so sad, like someone whose prized possession had been stolen. He looked rather pitiful.
"Natalie, look at the sky. That is my vow to you."
Then, a new sentence appeared in the night sky.
