Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1304

Chapter 1304: Feeling

’My true will.’

Atticus didn’t fully understand why, but he knew for sure that the reason he could withstand all of these wills at the same time was because of his true will.

The wills of another path could never be compared to the true will of one’s own. The former was following in the footsteps of another. A false path. It wasn’t their true identity, nor was it the path they were supposed to walk.

It was akin to an ant identifying as an elephant and attempting to ram through a tree. The result would be far from what it expected. It would be reality.

This was what played out in Atticus’ mindscape. The five wills of the gods he’d killed thrashed around, collectively trying to escape the prison. But no matter how much they tried, Atticus’ will didn’t so much as flicker.

’The power of true will.’

Atticus had observed that his will was sturdier than the other gods he’d fought in the past.

Even when he clashed with Whisker’s siblings before becoming a god, beings whose wills should’ve been stronger than his, Atticus had been able to survive and even overpower them.

He hadn’t noticed it at the time, but the advantages of having true will had reared their head earlier than he’d thought.

Atticus watched, calm, as the five wills of varying colors began to settle. They lost their fierceness bit by bit until they became docile.

Atticus’ will flared, engulfing them in a burst of raging fire. And as the five wills started to assimilate with him, he felt a surge of power the likes of which he’d never felt in his entire lifetime.

This was different from his power ups of the past. During each one, it had always been a boost to his bodily powers. His abilities.

His perception of the world would slow as he became even faster than before. He would suddenly feel like he could break the world with a single punch.

But right now, that wasn’t what Atticus felt. He didn’t feel like his body’s strength or speed had increased. No.

He felt as though his entire being had just been elevated. As though he was undergoing some kind of advancement to his existence.

He felt a clarity unlike anything he had ever experienced. He felt the reach of his being intensify. He felt a deep sense of certainty. And then... pride.

Atticus found it hard to understand.

He felt as though his belief should be the only thing that existed in the world. His concept was what defined him... The Burning.

Aside from that, nothing else should exist. His way should be the way of the world. It was a deep sense of pride that defined his existence.

A certainty that this was who he was, and it should be the only belief that existed in the world.

And with this feeling came a surge of omniscience the likes of which he had never felt before.

As a god, unless he consciously utilized it, his will had always been confined to his body. But right now, Atticus watched with narrowed eyes as his will spread around the world.

By now, he’d regained his grip on reality and reduced the temperature of his will to bearable levels.

Atticus ignored the shock of the Eldorians, the seriousness of Ozeorth, and the excitement of Whisker, and focused on his expanding will.
