Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1305

Chapter 1305: Child

Before Ozeorth could understand what he meant, the crimson will suddenly flared.

The Eldorians’ expressions shifted in horror as they saw smoke rising from different parts of the world, things burning. The temperature had risen.

But in the next moment, they became confused. None of them felt any heat.

Instead, only Atticus’ voice rang out.

“We have intruders.”

The Eldorians had barely comprehended his words when Atticus vanished from their sight.

“What’s going on?” Ozeorth asked, his aura rising.

“Nothing much. Just another trial.”

“Trial?” Ozeorth’s voice was intense. “Why didn’t you say anything before?”

“I couldn’t.” Whisker shrugged.

The expressions of the Eldorians shifted.

“Let’s go.”

Thunder rumbled overhead as Magnus spoke. They turned into streaks of light and vanished in different directions.

“I know where the fun is,” Whisker’s voice stopped Ozeorth, who had been about to move in another direction.

Unlike Atticus, he didn’t have omniscience. He could only see where his bond was heading, not where he would be.

Reluctantly, he nodded and moved with Whisker.

Dravek’s gaze was intense as he stared at the live footage streaming in front of him. It showed the world of Eldoralth and the frost covered world of Kariot.

The Crucible of Wills was a cruel place. A place meant to push worlds to the brink. To bring down societies and destroy all hope.

Dravek had just returned from Kariot after taking advantage of their desperation. There was nothing better than desperation when it came to getting things done.

“You’re happy, Dravek.”

As the boundless voice reached him, Dravek was about to sink to one knee, but somehow found himself unable to move.

“For a being of such okay standing, you’re slow.” The Verge appeared in front of him in a burst of light. “Formalities are boring. I came here for something interesting, don’t dampen this old man’s enthusiasm.”

“I apologize, Great Verge.”

“It’s okay,” the Verge said, his eyes since arrival fixed squarely on the screen, never once glancing at Dravek.

“Enlighten this old man on the reason for your happiness.”

Dravek clenched his fists, eyes blazing at the screen. “It’s because I’m about to repay the disrespect I suffered at his hands. I’m about to show him his place.”

The Verge laughed. “You’ve lived for more than a millennia, yet you act like a child. You Red Flames are fascinating beings.”

“It’s simply our belief, Great Verge.”

The Verge’s six eyes narrowed thoughtfully. “The Red Flames… flames of fury, your people call it. A belief forged in wrath, fury so refined it could burn gods.”

Dravek gave a slow nod. “To us, fury is not chaos. It is focus. Fire made pure through conviction.”

The Verge chuckled. “Yes, I’ve heard the saying. ‘To touch the Red Flame is to beg for a beautiful death.'”

Dravek was taken aback by the Great Verge’s words. It was rare to find such a being interested in their doctrine.

While the Red Flames were a major faction in the midplanes, with their main ruler centered at the very top, the Crown, it was still shocking that the Verge seemed so familiar with their beliefs.
