After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 793

He was still that same man who had chased after Isabella, only to end up empty-handed.

Nadine walked straight over to Ethan. “Mr. Adams, aren’t you trying to get back together with Isabella? Are you seriously just going to stand here and watch her with Harold? I love Harold. I want to marry him!”

Ethan’s reply was ice-cold. “My life isn’t any of your business. If you want Harold, that’s your own problem. If you think you can do it, go ahead and push Isabella out of the way. Stand next to Harold if you’ve got the nerve.”

He turned and left, clearly done with the conversation.

That strange dream he’d had kept replaying in his mind. In it, Nadine was always helping Natalie go up against Isabella. Most of the time, Nadine was the one coming up with all the plans.

Back then, he thought the Isabella in his dream was way too dramatic. She’d always get upset over the smallest things, fighting with him, then turning around to mess with Natalie.

Now he finally understood. Isabella just wanted to protect her marriage, to keep her man close.

He was the one who messed up.

He and Natalie had each moved on, started their own families, but he never set any boundaries. He kept treating Natalie’s issues like they were his own, just like before they got married. How could Isabella not get upset?

She only fought with Natalie because she loved him so much. It was all because she cared.

But now, Isabella didn’t love him anymore. If someone asked her to fight with Natalie for him, she wouldn’t bother. She’d rather get divorced and hand him over than waste her energy. When you stop loving someone, when they stop mattering, what’s the point of fighting?

“You just wait, Isabella.” Nadine muttered, stomping her foot in frustration.

She marched back into the hotel, her eyes glued to Harold and Isabella as they danced. She also spotted Natalie and Jordan across the room.
