Ethan liked to give Isabella spending money. Honestly, she just seemed bored and looking for something to do.
“Ethan spoils me the most. I really thought…”
Natalie rolled her eyes in her mind but kept her face calm. “Sure, Ethan cares about you, but when it comes to Isabella, you’re not even in the same league. Didn’t he say he doesn’t want the divorce? He’s trying to win Isabella back. He even called her the only wife he’ll ever have. They’re in it for the long haul. Don’t even try to compare yourself to Isabella. She’s about to become Ethan’s favorite person, you know.”
Sophia made a face and scoffed. “As soon as they get those divorce papers signed, Isabella’s out on the street. Spending her life with Ethan? Give me a break. Does she even deserve that? If her mom hadn’t married Jackson, she never would’ve met Ethan, let alone married him. With her background, she’s not even good enough to carry his shoes. Honestly, Ethan could do way better without even trying.”
Natalie shook her head. “Sophia, you’re not Ethan. You have no idea what he’s thinking. He’s already fallen for Isabella. Can’t you see it? He never used to care about her at all. He never took her side before. But now, he worries about her. That means he’s starting to like her, even if he hasn’t figured it out himself yet.”
