Ethan reached for her face, but Isabella slapped his hand away.

"Isabella, we’re still married until we have that divorce certificate. You were drunk. I came to get you and bring you home. What’s wrong with that? Or would you rather Harold had taken you instead?"

He let out a cold laugh. "Harold showed up just as I was carrying you out of the hotel. If I hadn’t been there first, he would’ve taken you.
