Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 360

Farley tentatively tried out the intimate nickname. Seeing no sign of displeasure from Marjorie, he relaxed.

"I'm a clerk at a company. What a coincidence, I'm also going to Southvale for vacation."

Marjorie paused, her eyes tracing his lips with a flirtatious hook. "Farley," she said, her voice dropping, "can I sit on your bunk? I don't really like looking at things going in the opposite direction," she added, glancing out the window with a helpless expression.

Her bunk was positioned facing against the train's direction of travel.

That one soft, breathy utterance of his name made every nerve in Farley's body tense up, his Adam's apple bobbing again.

He nodded. "Whatever you'd like, Marjorie. You can sit wherever you want. Come on over."

As he spoke, Farley shifted to make room beside him.

Marjorie sat down, naturally pressing herself close against him, their shoulders touching.

The intimate physical contact sparked a bold idea in Farley's mind, but he quickly buried it.

The woman wore a perfume that made him want to lean in and inhale her scent.

Despite his inner turmoil, he managed to restrain himself to maintain his gentlemanly demeanor.

Marjorie saw every little movement, every flicker of restraint.

She covered her mouth and let out a small yawn, her gaze direct as she looked at Farley. "Can I sleep on your bed? I'm a little tired and want to lie down for a bit."

Farley was becoming completely bewitched by her expression.

Her words were a spark to a fuse. Heat rushed to the tips of his ears, and he nodded numbly. "Yes, yes, of course you can."

This seductive little minx.

He was genuinely afraid he was about to lose control.

Sleep on his bed!

Of course, she could.

He couldn't have hoped for anything more.

How could he possibly refuse?

She could sleep on top of him if she wanted!
