Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 352

Their little faces were chubby and pink—babies put on weight so fast.

After two months of care, Leo and Lily were delightfully plump. Their little hands and feet had become round and pudgy, making them utterly adorable.

Grace and Ethan Holt sat beside them, their eyes filled with affection. They would occasionally tuck the small blankets around the babies, worried they might get chilled by the air conditioning.

When they arrived at the hospital, the pediatric floor was crowded with parents holding their children. They would have to wait in line.

Janina asked her parents to take the babies to the waiting area while she went to get a number.

The line was incredibly long.

They had a lot of tests to get through, and they had to complete them one by one.

After getting the number, Janina returned to the waiting area and sat with her parents, waiting to be called.

All around them, children were either crying or babbling contentedly.

Leo and Lily had woken up by now, their round, curious eyes darting around the room.

After a while, their number was finally called.

Janina and her parents carried the babies into the first examination room, where their growth and development would be checked.

The doctor, a middle-aged woman, gestured for them to place the children on the examination table.

Grace set Leo down on the small bed. The little boy kicked his legs excitedly.

“Alright, let’s see how our little treasure is growing.”

As she spoke, the doctor gently took Leo’s tiny hand to measure his height and weight. Leo and Lily were surprisingly cooperative and didn’t cry.

Next were the vision and hearing tests.

In the vision room, the doctor held up a card with colorful patterns and moved it slowly in front of Leo’s eyes.

Why was Seven staying in the countryside? Apparently, he was fascinated by Fairchild’s medical knowledge.

Fairchild had originally wanted to take Easton on as his apprentice, but Easton wasn't interested. Fairchild had been frustrated that his lifetime of skill was being rejected. Unexpectedly, Seven showed a keen interest in medicine, and the two of them now spent their days engrossed in studying it.

“Portsborough is a great city. Our Seven has a bright future,” Ethan said with a proud smile.

“Seven is very talented. He’s a good student, hardworking, and a smooth talker. Don’t worry, no matter where he goes, he’ll be able to take care of himself,” Janina reassured her parents, knowing they were worried about Seven. After all, it was his first time living so far from home, and they were both reluctant to see him go and anxious for his well-being.

The elevator stopped on the third floor.

Some people got out, and others got in.

Just as the doors were closing, Janina caught a sudden glimpse of Marjorie Sullivan.

Marjorie looked forlorn, clutching a report in her hand. Her eyes were red and swollen, as if she had just been crying.
