Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 333

"How much did they pay you? I'll give you double. Just let me go. I swear I'll keep my promise."

Without even stopping to think who might want her dead, Janina immediately tried to make a deal.

The ones who can take her life are nothing but two kinds of people.

One was Yvonne Moore.

The other was someone connected to the Jensen Parnell case.

She couldn't think of anyone else she had offended.

She forced herself to stay calm. If they were doing this for money, maybe her offer would be enough to sway them.

A mocking voice shattered her hopes.

"You think I'm an idiot? I let you go, and you'll just wire us the money? Are you naive, or do you just think we're stupid?"

"We're not morons. Let you go? You'd run straight to the cops. What good is money to me if I'm in prison? Don't you dare try to play games with me," Dylan snarled, his temper flaring as he started cursing.

"Don't worry, once we're ready, we'll make sure your death is painless. So save your energy. You can't escape. Look around. There's no one here. Where would you even run, huh?"

The man's smile, the triumphant smirk of a victor in complete control, filled Janina with utter despair.

He was right. Where could she possibly run?

Even if her hands and feet weren't tied, she was no match for two grown men.

"Please, I won't call the police. I don't want anything else, I just want to live. I have a child and parents. If I die, what will happen to them? I know you're just doing this for money. I can give it to you. If you don't believe me, I can swear an oath."

Janina tried to play the sympathy card, hoping to buy herself more time, praying that these two men had even a shred of compassion.

But she was wrong.

Evil men have no compassion.

To them, a human life was worth nothing.

John shot her a vicious glare.

"One more word out of you, and I'll cut out your tongue," he threatened, brandishing a large kitchen knife.
