My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1750

Since meeting Warwick a few years ago, Thelma had always disliked him.

She knew exactly what Warwick had done in recent years.

The tactics Sienna used to suppress her were nothing compared to Warwick's. Warwick's methods were designed to ensure she saw no light at the end of the tunnel.

And yet, now she was about to submit.

Thinking about what was about to happen, her breathing became even more labored. She could hear the happiness in Warwick's voice.

Just as she ended her call with him, an unknown number came through.

She thought it might be someone from her company—perhaps there was a question they needed to clarify—so she answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello, this is Charles' manager. I'm calling because we're interested in signing you. We're prepared to handle your contract termination fee with your previous company, and you can also let us know if you have any other conditions.

"Additionally, I can guarantee that you'll have at least two roles this year," a steady voice said on the other end.

Thelma thought she must have misheard. "Are you really Charles' manager?"

"Yes, of course. You can take some time to think about whether you want to accept our offer," the manager replied.

She was skeptical. "I don't have any notable works, and I'm not well-known. Why would you want to sign me? Aren't you afraid it won't be worth it?"

Having walked in darkness for so long, she couldn't help but feel the road ahead would still be just as bleak—or worse, this could all be some cruel joke.

"Ms. Johnston, you need to have confidence in yourself. Charles is starting a studio, and it can't just have him as the only artist.

"After recording the show with Charles, your visibility is likely to increase. Signing you now might turn out to be my luck," the manager said, his tone reassuring.
