"You don't order me around" Adam said. He had enough of her arrogance. No wonder, Olivia was shocked and tired of her and sought out to kill her at all cost.
She didn't mind about anything to get rid of Alexandra and Adam had felt her strong hate when she had attempted to chase her after Alexandra escaped from their hands that day in the woods.
"You are in my cell and I can come whenever I want"
"Right you can but I will choose to welcome you or not"
Adam towered closer to the bars and held it tightly. "You will welcome me because I am your Alpha"
"That's right. My Alpha, it's all you're ever going to be so that means that I can choose to ignore you"
"You will not defy me" Adam glared. The only thing saving him from throttling her was these and he didn't want to get closer to Nathaniel else he will loose his cool and kill him.
"You will not defy me either" Alexandra retorts. She had enough of him, if he wasn't going to respect her after putting her through hell then she wasn't either going to back down from challenging him at every chance she gets. That way he will realise that the only thing stopping her from physically attacking him was Nathaniel.
If only he was healing then she wouldn't even think twice about giving Adam a piece of her mind.
"What? What did you just say?"
"You will not defy me either Adam Hawthorn"
"You got some nerve"
"And so do you"
"Hope you are aware that I'm the only one stopping the guards from putting an end to you. You can meet your demise with the snap of my finger"
Alexandra stayed quiet, what Adam said was the truth and that pissed her off.
"Fine! Do it"
"What?"
"Do it, I said"
Adam grinned, his gaze wicked. Alexandra wasn't the woman he once thought she was. She had morale. Well she always had guts but now she was fearless, daring and never failing to voice her thoughts no matter the consequence.
He had not seen any one like her, not even Olivia could match up to her, no woman in Guerrero pack or across will have the guts to speak to him in such rude manner.
"You got some gut"
"I was born with it"
"What?" Adam arched up his brow at her, a wave of confusion clearly written on his face.
He couldn't understand what Alexandra said but what she had said was the truth. Her rebirth had made her this way, she was a scorned woman who got another chance to live again.
She wasn't going to be that scared little girl who Adam and Olivia clearly made a fool of and eventually killed in the most horrifying manner. The memory of her death shot through her mind and she pushed it off.
That memory had made her harder and she had returned tougher, a complete opposite of the woman she used to be. She had thought it was all a dream, a bad nightmare until she saw Olivia and Adam kissing in the hallway that day and there she confirmed what shot through her mind wasn't some dream but it was real.
The memories had all been real and in that moment, Alexandra decided that she was going to be the woman no one would recognise. She transformed into a much better and tougher woman who could withstand anything they threw at her. His betrayal made her tougher and she could only feel one thing: anger.
That rage was one of the things she had held on to become this woman that Nathaniel was proud of, his ever beautiful mate.
"I was born with gut" she said again as though he hadn't heard her the first time.
"I heard you"
"I can tell" Alexandra shot back sharply.
