When Nathaniel had thrown questions at her, Alexandra felt the need to tell him the truth but still left out the most important part of it all: her rebirth.
This was the tie to everything that has been going on, the reason the were in this place. If she wasn't reborn then Nathaniel would be alive. Of course they would've met and someone else would have been his mate but Alexandra would have been very happy to see him alive with someone else than In this situation.
The thought of Nathaniel and another woman together ripped her heart apart but she exhaled four times in an attempt to calm her nerves and get rid of jealousy. That was what drove Olivia to the edge. Jealousy was like a disease and Olivia's soul had gotten even infected so there was no cure for her. None except death and she would willingly give it to her when the right time comes.
If ever she gets to leave or escape at most, that was the only way she could think of getting out of here. Adam wasn't going to release her, letting her go was out of the question for him. He didn't mind keeping her locked in the cell and turning her to his muse.
At least the anger and jealousy in his eyes had said it all. Glancing upward, Alexandra wished she had all the time in the world to stay with Nathaniel. She wanted him, alone him and not his imagination. The picture she had created in her head nor the one whispering in her mind. Those one couldn't make her feel the way Nathaniel made her feel.
He was truly charming and nothing could replace him.
"You should have stopped when you reached the gate. You should have turned around and left" She trail her finger on his face. His perfectly chiselled jaw down to his neck, Alexandra undid his button, letting the cold breeze to engulf his body.
"Is cold in here" She mumbled, as if he heard her.
"Do you need a warmer?"
Alexandra stiffened for a moment and she stared towards the door intently. Her eyes glaring at the familiar man walking in who she didn't want to see. He was the last person she wanted to see right now let alone speak with.
"You seem so cosy with him"
"Shouldn't you be out there taking care of the pack?" She asked the first question that shot through her mind.
"I did. Or at least was but then I remembered that I missed a certain someone"
Alexandra hastily spat out, disgusted. She would never settle to be his side piece, his very thing of play. It wasn't fair how he gets to have it all. First was her life, he took her past away from her, then her mother's clan. He made her watch them die, and then he took her position. The only thing that mattered to her. He forced her to give it to him and she gave it to him just to save Nathaniel.
Although she didn't regret it, if history is repeat itself again, she will do it over and over again just so Nathaniel will not be killed. But one thing she cannot let him take is his outright claim of her like she was his property. His unexpected visitation to her cell as if she mattered and he had suddenly grown a heart.
"Don't be so disgusting"
