Seeing Sophie coming down, Mr. Schuldt quickly stood up and said, "Ms. Sophie."
"There's no need for formalities, Mr. Schuldt. I asked you here because there's something I want to hand over to you."
Saying so, Sophie took out a USB drive from her pocket.
This was something Odie had previously hidden in a silk pouch for her.
It was somewhat amusing, really.
She had risked her life several times in Summerfield trying to steal this USB drive from Odie, who stubbornly refused to give it to her.
And now, after all these twists and turns, Odie had personally handed it over to her.
"This contains evidence of crimes committed by some business moguls, but I don't want this evidence to go public. So, what I'm giving you is just a backup."
"Ms. Sophie, this is…"
Mr. Schuldt looked at Sophie with some confusion.
Sophie said, "The people involved in this USB drive are too numerous, Mr. Schuldt. You wouldn't want to make enemies, right? I'm asking you to use this evidence to take down those illegal operations all at once. As for the big fish mentioned in the drive, we'll handle them."
Hearing Sophie's explanation, Mr. Schuldt had an epiphany.
"Ms. Sophie, you're truly brilliant! Rest assured, I will handle this matter properly."
"Thank you, Mr. Schuldt."
After everything she had gone through, Sophie had a clear understanding of the rules of survival in this world.
Not all evildoers in this world could be punished.
And with so much injustice, for those beyond the reach of the law, they had to be countered with their own medicine.
To avoid causing public panic, they had to administer justice themselves.
Every circle had its unwritten rules.
The business world was no different.
From today onwards, these unwritten rules would be set by her.
Should there be anyone else causing harm to society, they would take action.
After Mr. Schuldt left, Sophie felt a weight lifted off her shoulders.
