Aunt May tenderly patted Jenna's hand.
Yet, Jenna's heart was still filled with unease.
That night, after she entered her house, she somehow fell into a deep sleep.
Upon waking, she found herself in this hidden room.
And then, Aunt May came to see her.
"Ms. Jenna, I know you're a good girl, but I can only protect you by hiding you here," Aunt May whispered. "I also know that you came back the night before last to gather information, but it's too dangerous. Wesley won't be coming back, and you're safest here..."
"Aunt, I can't just think about myself. I have friends, and I must stand with them. I can't let them worry about me."
Jenna set down her cupcake, and just as she stood up, she suddenly felt dizzy.
There was something in that cupcake...
"Aunt, you..."
"You have to trust me, dear, I'm doing this for your own good..."
May watched Jenna fall, a sorrowful expression on her face.
Meanwhile, at the Aldridge Estate.
Adler woke up as the sky gradually darkened.
Harold had driven Sophie and Colby back early. Seeing Adler wake up at six in the evening, Sophie suddenly said to William, who was keeping his distance from the door, "That drug you gave him was really strong, he slept all day."
Hearing this, William chuckled awkwardly: "Ha... ha, well, I didn't... I mean, I didn't want him to wake up too early."
