Revenge is best served cold novel Chapter 1664

"I've made some discoveries."

Suddenly, Colby spoke up from beside them.

Sophie asked, "What did you find on the ground floor?"

"Rare and unique gems."

Colby said, "The Tredgold family has a large treasure cabinet on the ground floor."

Speaking of the Tredgold family's treasure cabinet, Sophie remembered seeing it the first time they visited the Tredgold family.

But they hadn't seen it very clearly at the time.

"All the gems inside are rare in this world, priceless and impossible to find in the market. Also, I discovered a secret passage on the ground floor, likely leading underground."

Harold asked, "Did you go down there?"

"Uh-huh."

"What's inside?"

"A corridor of gems."

Colby roughly described what he saw. The Tredgold family's underground corridor had glass display cases on both sides filled with glowing stones. The corridor was deep, and at the end, there seemed to be a door. With limited time, Colby hadn't made it to the very end, but he had a good idea that the Tredgold family had a secret chamber.

Harold asked, "Could Jenna be behind that door?"

"I'm not sure."

Colby wasn't too certain what was behind that door.

But it could just be a treasure vault.

It wasn't unlike Wesley to be so keen on collecting stones that he'd have an underground vault specially made.

Sophie suggested, "Should we wait for Adler to wake up and then have him check the Tredgold family's place?"

After all, they were outsiders, and searching the house was something Adler should do personally.
