She only had two family members in this world, Kiran and her dad.
Growing up, she was without a mother and lacked true friends.
She couldn't bear the thought of her dad getting into trouble, nor could she stand to see her brother become what he is today.
And she definitely didn't want anything bad happening to Sophie and the others.
As Sandy's cries grew louder, Kiran pulled her into his embrace, whispering words of comfort, "Don't worry, Sandy, no one's dying. I won't let anything happen to him."
Hearing Kiran's promise, Sandy couldn't hold back her tears any longer, filling the hospital corridor with her sobs.
After calming Sandy down, Kiran had his bodyguard escort her away.
Stepping forward, one of the bodyguards behind Kiran spoke, "Mr. Angelo, our boss is waiting for you just ahead."
"Have you been following me all this way, and plan to keep doing so?"
"I don't like being followed, especially by someone else's men," Kiran said coldly.
The bodyguards remained silent behind him.
They were just following orders.
As long as their boss commanded them to stay by Kiran's side, even if it meant risking their lives, they wouldn't leave him.
"You really are your master's loyal dogs."
Kiran had no interest in wasting more words on them.
